Generations One and Two

Louis E. Favret, was born in Ownesville, Ohio June 6, 1897, and was founder and first president of the Favret Company in 1924. He headed the company until his death on August 27, 1964. His sudden death left the company to his three sons at the company and James L. Favret was then elected to be president and to run the company.

James L. Favret, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio June 11, 1923, and was the eldest son of Louis Favret. He was president of the Favret company from 1964 until 1993. He was Chairman of our Board and made chief counsel for the remainder of his retirement years. Jim had a full, long and successful life and passed on April 18, 1998.

William E. Favret, James L. Favret's brother, became president of the company from 1993 to 1999. William now has taken up the position  of our Chairman of the Board.

This was then, “our company logo,” that Lou Favret used for over twenty five years.

This is now, “our present company logo,” that Jim Favret started using in 1979.

The company has flourished due to the leadership and direction of these two men.
We felt it necessary to add this page to honor them.
Without these two generations of Favret’s, the third generation could not have made the transition that maintains the Favret Company as the Central Ohio leader in the Indoor Weather Comfort business.

Generation Three

Charlie worked at the Favret Company 
from 11/01/1983 to 10/29/2006.
He was the parts / Warehouse Manager.
He also ordered equipment for stock and jobs.
Charlie also worked sales calls periodically.
